She specialises in baroque and classical repertoire and is today one of the most sought-after soloists in these fields. She has sung in many of the most important opera houses in Europe and the USA, working with conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Claudio Abbado, Ivor Bolton, Ton Koopman, Gustav Leonhardt, Franz Brüggen, Jordi Savall, Alan Curtis, Giovanni Antonini, Fabio Biondi, Antonio Florio, Rinaldo Alessandrini and Ottavio Dantone. He regularly collaborates with ensembles such as Concentus Musicus Wien, Orchestra Mozart, Accademia Bizantina, Il Giardino Armonico, Cappella de la Pietà dei Turchini, Concerto Italiano, Europa Galante, Ensemble Matheus, Venice Baroque Orchestra, Barocchisti, etc.
In 2012, the Vienna Konzerthaus celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Resonanzen Festival with the recital "Roberta Invernizzi and friends". In November 2012, Nikolas Harnoncourt chose her as the soloist for the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Vienna Musikverein with Mozart's version of Alexander's Feast.
Roberta Invernizzi has recorded more than 70 discs, many of them world premieres, for labels such as Sony, Deutsche Grammophon, EMI/Virgin, Naïve, Opus 111, Symphonia and Glossa. Several of these recordings have been recognised by the music press, winning awards such as Diapason D'Or de l'Année, Choc du Monde de la Musique, Goldberg's Five Stars, Grammophone Awards and Deutsche Schallplatten Preis.
She won the prestigious Midem Classical Award 2007 and the Stanley Prize. In 2010, his solo CD "Cantatas italianas" by Händel, for the Glossa label, once again brought him the Stanley Prize for "best Händel recording of the year". His recent "Vivaldi Album" (Glossa) was acclaimed by international critics.
