Double bassist, pianist, guitarist, arranger and sporadic composer, Duncan Fox studied at the Royal Academy of Music Junior School and Royal Northern College of Music, working on the double bass with Duncan McTier, the piano with David Lloyd and the viola da gamba with Richard Boothby, before moving to Portugal to join the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra (Assistant Suit Coordinator). He has a particular interest in music education and has written numerous pieces for young musicians, as well as designing educational projects and interactive shows for the São Carlos National Theatre. In 2018, he began a collaboration with the Luso-German Youth Orchestra with which he develops creative projects and writes orchestral arrangements - with a special focus on Portuguese repertoire.
