A countertenor, he was born in São Paulo (Brazil). He began his musical studies at the Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa, where he studied singing with Professor Filomena Amaro and Professor Ana Paula Russo from 2014 to 2017. He is currently studying for a degree in Singing at the Lisbon School of Music, under the guidance of Professor Sílvia Mateus.
He won 1st prize in the 10th edition of the National Singing Competition of the Official National Conservatoires in 2016.
He has taken part in various masterclasses with national and international teachers and musicians, such as Maria Cristina Kiehr, João Paulo Santos, Geert Berghs, Adam Wolf and Pierre Mak.
In 2018 she had the honour of taking part in the Guimarães International Music Festival, together with the great pianist Nuno Vieira de Almeida, where she performed Benjamin Britten's Canticle IV "The Journey of the Magi".
Also in 2018, he took part in the Music Days, where he performed Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with the Colégio Moderno Music School, under the direction of Maestro Frederico Projecto. He also took part in the Music Days with Os Músicos do Tejo in the programme entitled "Venice and the limits of morality", where he sang works by composers such as Monteverdi, Orlando di Lasso, Cipriano de Rore, among others.
He works regularly with the Ensemble Cappella dei Signori (Dir. Ricardo Mateus), a group that aims to recover the specific sound of the Portuguese Royal Chapel during the 16th to 18th centuries, when the choirs were made up exclusively of men and, especially from the reign of King João V onwards, were largely castrati of Italian origin.
As a guest singer, he works with the groups Lisboa a Cappella, Os Músicos do Tejo, Ensemble Americantiga, Avres Serva, Ensemble MPMP, among others.
